Welcome to the education and development section of the Swim Ireland website. The Education Team is currently made up of 5 members:

  • Charlotte Parker - Director of Education and Development
  • Jemima Coates - Education Manager
  • Chantal Gibney - Development Officer
  • Trish Mayon - Development Officer
  • Saleena Shaw - Education and Development Administrator

The vision of the Education and Development Team is -

"To foster an environment where all can access clear developmental pathways and quality support from learn to swim through to elite success and lifelong participation in aquatics or in the aquatic disciplines."

 

Regional Development
The Education Team also has three Development Officers which have been appointed to develop their designated region.  The role of the Regional Development Officer is to work with their designated region in helping them achieve their goals and to act as a Swim Ireland representative and information contact for the members of their designated region. The Development officers are:

Ruth McQuillan (Swim Ulster Development Officer) - Ulster
