Sarah is responsible for the overall operational side of Swim Ireland and was appointed as Swim Ireland's first CEO in May 2004. She reports to the Swim Ireland board and specifically to the Swim Ireland Chairperson. Her hometown is Dublin, where she currently resides. Sarah's qualifications include an Honours Degree in Law, a Masters in Commercial Law and Diplomas in both Corporate Management and Financial Management.

Carmel Tooher - Personal Assistant to CEO Carmel was appointed as Personal Assistant to CEO (part-time) in December 2008. Originally from Shinrone, Co Offaly, Carmel has spent most of her life in Dublin and is married with three children. Her role as PA-CEO is varied and includes providing support for Sarah Keane CEO in achieving key tasks, managing a busy office and providing support for the Board.
