Swim Ireland and Dublin City Council are excited to announce that the Sean MacDermott Street swimming pool will be undergoing an upgrade to install brand-new boilers, ensuring an end to the sporadic closures of recent weeks,.

To make these improvements, the pool will be temporarily closed for two weeks, starting from 18th March – 25th March. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, but we are confident that the enhanced heating system will be worth the wait and ensuring a smoother operation going forward.
