All our qualifications are industry-recognised and meet Sport Ireland coaching and safeguarding standards.
To book visit the Courses page, select your chosen aquatics course (Teaching, Coaching, Safeguarding etc.), pick a date of a course on our JustGo site, and complete your booking online.
Learning Hub
Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with course details and a link to our online learning platform, where the course has an online element.
- Click the link provided or login to the LearningHub here.
- Enter your email address and password (set during registration).
- If you forget your password, click ‘Forgot Password’ to reset it.
If you don’t receive your login email, please check your spam/junk folder or contact us at education@swimireland.ie for assistance.
Zoom
Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email with course details, please note for Zoom sessions the link will be sent out 24hrs before the course is due to start.

- 100% attendance is required to complete the registered course.
Many of our courses, including Safeguarding Level 1, are available online through zoom for flexible learning. Teaching and Coaching qualifications include blended learning (a mix of online and practical sessions).
- Safeguarding Level 1: 3 hours
- CPD(Continuous Professional Development): 1-6 hours (Content dependent)
- Teaching/Coaching Level 1: 16 hours (blended or in-person)
- Teaching/Coaching Level 2: 32 hours (blended or in-person)
Yes! On successful completion, you’ll receive a digital certificate confirming your qualification.
This will be emailed to you upon completion and will be available for download from your JustGo profile.
For cancellations, candidates must reach out to the Education team 48 hours prior to the course start date and time. Those who provide the required notice can receive a full refund or a one-time transfer, minus a 2% surcharge fee.
Candidates who have fully paid for an SI Education Swimming Teacher or Coach course are eligible for a refund only for the course stages they have not yet completed.
- Safeguarding certificates: valid for 3 years
- Vetting (NVB or ANI): valid for 3 years
- Teaching and Coaching qualifications: valid indefinitely, though regular CPD is required to maintain your RAP license and Membership.
To receive Skillnet funding your facility must be Ireland Active members. You will then complete the online application to seek funding approval for the required qualification.

Absolutely! We offer courses for clubs, leisure centres, and schools. Just email us or fill in the form below, with the number of participants, desired dates and number of pool hours available, and we’ll help set up a course with your facility or club at times and dates that suit you.
