We are looking for Swim Teachers (Level 2) to join our dynamic team on a part time basis.

Role and Reporting Structure

The Swimming Teacher will report to the Duty Manager (and/or Pool Operations Manager) and is responsible for swimming tuition within the pool environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Responsibilities for the Swimming Teachers include but are not limited to the following:

  • Organising, assisting and instructing individuals and/or groups with swimming tuition, ensuring best practice and delivery is followed when teaching all group and individual swimming classes & fitness classes.
  • Complete a scheme of work, session plans and evaluations for each class.
  • Monitor and record swimmers progress throughout each programme on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and hygienic pool environment, to include setting up and taking down equipment as required.
  • Supervising activities in the swimming pool
  • Ensure customer service is to the highest standard when dealing with queries/concerns.
  • Additional duties as allocated by the Pool Operations Manager/Duty Manager(s)

 

Qualification and Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification.
  • Pool Lifeguard Qualification is desirable.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland on a full-time basis.
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings midweek & weekends

Remuneration and Location

  • The package will include a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • Position Tenure: 3-year part and full-time contracts available.
  • Position Location: Sean McDermott Street Pool, Dublin 1.
