National Centre Dublin Skills Clinics

Calling all Open Water Swimmers and Triathletes (15 and over). Andrew Addison will be running a clinic from 19:00-20:30 on Thursday 18th July to share some knowledge and skills to help improve your technique.

Andrew Addison serves as the Assistant Head Coach at the National Centre in Dublin.  Andrew is also the Head Coach for the LA Olympic Games focussed group – Project 28.  Since 2011 Andrew has worked with masters’ swimmers and triathletes, with several of them making it all the way to the Ironman World Championships in Kona and Nice.

Andrew had 3 athletes qualify for junior international competition in 2023 with two of those going on to qualifying for the Senior European Short Course Championships. Since Andrew’s joining the Centre, its most recent success has been to qualify 6 athletes to the team for the World Championships in Doha, 6 athletes to qualify for the European Long Course Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, 2 junior athletes qualifying to compete at the European Junior Championships held in Vilnius, Lithuania, and 5 athletes to represent Ireland at the Paris Olympic Games.

This is your chance to gain some invaluable knowledge and learn skills to improve your stroke technique from a renowned coach. The clinic will cost €75 per person, and places are limited. It is the perfect opportunity as we are in the midst of the Open Water season, so book your space now to avoid disappointment.

ALL CLINICS CAN BE BOOKED THROUGH THIS LINK – please use the profile of the person attending the clinic when booking, and not a parent’s profile. All current SI members already have a profile so you should not create a new one
